The Port Dalhousie Vitalization Corp is proud to present Port Place, a new mixed use development to be located in Old Port Dalhousie.
This new project includes a new 415-seat theatre, a 70-room hotel, as well as new retail, office, and restaurant space. Anchoring this space will be a new public space, Hogan's court, designed to be suitable for a variety of public functions, including bicycle race endings and award ceremonies for the world famous Royal Canadian Henley Regatta.

The crown of this development will be a 60m, 17-storey residential condominium tower. Expected to hold between 72 and 80 units, this tower will offer beautiful views of Lake Ontario, Lakeside Park, and Martindale Pond. This development will also be preserving the heritage buildings in the area, as well as retaining the flavour of Old Port Dalhousie for it's new residents.
Alongside these developments, PDVC has proposed enhancements to the existing park and public spaces, including landscaping the existing parking to be safer and more efficient, creating a new building for year round operations of the historic carousel, and completion of the long proposed rotary skating path. PDVC also wants to enhance the existing 1st Welland Canal footprints while finding an appropriate use for the Jailhouse. |
